View of the European Alps’ most popular mountain
Not only it is the most popular and most impressive mountain of the Alps, but it is also one of the highest mountains in Europe, with its highest summit being at an elevation of 4,478 metres. The Matterhorn dominates the town of Zermatt located in the Wallis canton.
