The Justice Palace of Montbenon (French: Palais de Justice de Montbenon) dominates the homonymous square, Esplanade de Montbenon, in Lausanne.
Built in 1881 at the top of a hill, offering splendid views to the Lac Léman and the Alps, the Palais de Justice once housed the Federal Tribunal (the highest judicial authority in Switzerland), while today it houses the District Tribunal.
The visitor can enjoy the lovely view and rest in the gardens of the palace, among impressive statues, sculptures and emblems of Swiss patriotism.
