Bern’s Cathedral
Switzerland’s tallest church with its 100 meters of height, took more than 400 years to be built. Its construction started in 1421 and after many generations of builders it was finally finished in 1893. The Gothic style of the cathedral is really impressive and the view from its top even more. Before enjoying the wonderful view over the whole city and the white snowy Bernese Alps you will first have to climb 344 narrow winding steps, but for its unique view it is really worth the climbing. Do not forget to see the Münster‘s main portal, which depicts the Last Judgment.
