This is Switzerland’s single and unique museum about the history of Alpine mountains as well as cartography. The ground floor focuses on alpine nature, glaciers, geology, vegetation and fauna and provides the visitor with an overview of mountain reliefs. The second floor concentrates on the cultivated alpine landscape with topics such as agriculture, cartography, tourism and winter sports. In addition, the museum collects and exposes objects and artworks related to the world of mountains.
